Hotel Tips

Policies vary on the availability of pet friendly rooms to it is wise to be open, honest and upfront during the booking process. You may find yourself kicked out or even paying a large deposit if you are not in a pet-friendly hotel and bring one anyway. New ADA laws are fuzzy though as service animals are not required to be documented and proprietors are legally not allowed to ask if the animal is a pet vs. a service animal.

Not all online booking systems are fully integrated with hotel reservations systems so there is a chance that smaller hotels are hand entering your stay from a fax machine which leaves room for errors. Book directly with hotel to avoid any problems and ask for a price match if you find a better price online.

Always tip staff when you feel the service was great and don't forget the housekeeping staff which you may never see. You should tip every day if you are staying multiple days as the staff may rotate out and miss the bounty at the end.

Things To Do

Plymouth Meeting brings a custom fit every time a shoe is bought locally. Nothing beats the hands on experience of shoe shopping to add to your collection of Men's, Women's and Children's shoes. Try them on, walk around and make sure you have the best fit as every manufacturer is a bit different on sizing.

Plymouth Meeting brings musicians together and finding your local musical instrument shop can be a great way to get to try new and used guitars. Be sure to start your search downtown if you are looking to upgrade, trade-in or add to your collection.

Plymouth Meeting can warm you up on a cloudy day or simply offer your daily perk by visiting your local coffee shop. Quality, purity and punch are targeted with coffee beans curated globally and locally roasted while being served fresh as it is made right in front of you. Order up!

Why Do You Love Downtown?

Liisa Shunn

We love going downtown, because we like to support our local economy. The shops and restaurants we visit -- we have gotten to know the owners, so when our money is spent downtown, we know who benefits. Also? We live only a mile from downtown, so we walk or ride our bikes. No worries about a designated driver or looking for parking. We chose to live in Medford, so of course we want our money to stay in Medford, not going off to some corporate office of a chain store.

Taylor Stainbrook

I've never been to Spicewood but my sisters and I will be coming on June 2nd for a sister vacay weekend.

Paul

I just love the small town vibe.

Kathleen Townsend

It's so quaint and cute!

Aimee Cavill

Love to wander through this beautiful town and I love the wineries!
