Hotel Tips
Elevators are notorious for being a nuisance so ask to be roomed on the top floor and as far away as possible. Most hotels book nearby rooms last so hopefully they have availability elsewhere.
Ask to be shown a room before you check-in which signals the front desk agent to show the best room available to sell it right away. This can put you in the best room available at that time and gives you the ability to check for cleanliness, smells and sounds before transacting with the hotel.
Avoid booking poolside for kids playing during the day and gatherings at night. Sound bounces off of the water and voices carry so ask for a room away from the pool either on the opposite side of the hotel or in higher floors.
Things To Do
Henrietta visitors are always welcome and you will receive exceptional service from local merchant-owners as opposed to staff at the big box retailers. We take the extra time to make sure that you how to make best use of your purchase and that you get exactly what you need.
Henrietta is the place to plan your wedding. You'll be spending a lot of time downtown as there are so many wonderful shops to find invitations, photographers, bakers, caterers and jewelers. Planning your wedding will be a breeze with so much support from local merchants to make a perfect and memorable day.
Henrietta brings smiles by way of doughnuts and pastries made fresh daily for your enjoyment. Everyone has their favorite of course but having a variety of bakeries is what makes downtown so special. Fritters, scones and pies oh my!

Love the yarn store and the restaurants
Daniel E Swanson
The Downtown area stores are friendlier and have comparable pricing as the bigger stores. The only problem is parking and the distance you may have to walk to do your shopping.
